Kudos to Kathryn! When I contracted with Stanley Barber I was very suspect. I was told that it was hard work with a lot of potential disappointments. I told her that I expected to move quickly as money was getting tight. I had been out of work for nearly 9 months when I was contacted by SB. She got me ready for a job search in less than 3 weeks. One of my target companies, Hewlett Packard was almost impossible to secure an interview. The job that I wanted was advertised for more than 3 months. Kathryn gave me the name of a SB client. She called and e-mailed him and asked if he would meet with me and recommend me for the Product Management role that I was seeking. I met with Mike J. and he was impressed enough with me to send an internal memo recommended that I be seen. After 3 very long interviews, I was offered the position. I have been here at H.P for 5 months now and it has been a great learning experience. This would not have been possible without the preparation and contact that was given me by Kathryn Hicks.
