Dear Al and Larry,
Enclosed, my offer letter from Flextronics. There is no way I could have done this without you folks. Being 12,000 miles away at the time of my search made it impossible for me to establish any contacts or even be available for phone interviews. China is a very difficult place to communicate with due to the time difference. You forced me to be efficient with my time and made people available to me including the VP Operations that hired me. My wife and I are very grateful to the whole Stanley Barber staff for getting me back to California. I will continue to us the resources that you offer as my career moves forward.

Dear Al,
I wanted to thank you for your tenacity in sticking with me in my search even after we hit the wall with Apple back in March. You knew how disappointed I was after not getting the offer that I believed was a "sure thing". You're exact words were, "get back on the bike before you lose your nerve". After sulking for a week I did just that. The offer I received from BEA in August 06 would not have happened if you hadn't pushed me to stay focused.
Thanks also to Kathryn for the time she spent with me in preparing for almost 12 hours of interviewing and reviewing my collateral prior to each of those interviews. Lastly, your insistence in my negotiating for a sign on bonus made our trip to South America possible.
